do you take your medicine????

So Lee's rash/reaction, I'm glad to report has pretty much gone away...until yesterday, when he decided to not take the pills and lie to me about it. And what happened???? Low and behold, he started getting splotchy (is that a word?) and red, this morning he woke up with a runny nose and a little bit itchy. We've been through this a thousand times with Lee and I think, that maybe, just maybe, perhaps, there is an off chance that he has finally learned that he must take his meds as prescribed, in order to keep his body in check.....He had his dose last night and this morning so my hope is that he will return home, itch free. Yikes! kids......need I say more....lol

The other big news here is that Lee's prayers have finally been answered

we have finally got our long awaited first snowfall. These pics are the view from our back door and our front door.(oops same pic twice, sorry) Lee is in hog heaven to put it mildly. We had to go see the ski hill the other day just to check and make sure, he wasn't missing out on any snowboarding....I can't be trusted with that kind of info....lol. So Lee is ready to hit the slopes the very "second" that they open up! We'll keep you posted on that one.

Bret will be home on Friday, which is nice since the U.S. Thanksgiving is on next Thursday. We're going over to one of my co-worker's house to celebrate, with a big pot luck dinner. I'm sad I missed the Canadian holiday with my family, but we should have fun next week. The bonus is that Bret will be home for Christmas too. Lee's going to his mom and Bruce's for Christmas but will be home around New Years and will be able to get some snowboarding in before school starts. Bret and I are just going to spend a quiet week here in Anchorage. We had hopes of going to Canada, but it's just to expensive around the holidays...so maybe we'll go to Denali or Mt. Mckinley for a couple of days...take the train through the mountains...it's supposed to be a wonderful trip.

Not much else new on this front though....oooooh wait I almost forgot....Lee's class is selling chocolate bars, in order to raise money to go to space camp in March or April....the cost is 1 dollar per bar. If anyone would like some email me at hobbz4@yahoo.com and we'll pay Lee and you can send us the money and we'll send you some chocolate. He has 100 bars to sell so don't be shy :)

take care

bret, jan and lee
