Hello to all!
I apologize for not being as good about keeping the blog up to date recently, but life gets hectic and time just slips by sooooo darn fast.
Spring has definately sprung, as I'm typing this I had to shut the window because they are mowing our lawn right now! Yea! This is good 1. because they mow it for us! and 2. because it's getting green, green, green. Even the leaves are starting to make an appearance. I had the day off yesterday and had ambitious plans to prune the bushes and plant some flowers but it rained so I guess we'll try for Thursday :)
Bret is back home, and work for this summer is kind of up in the air. His rig doesn't operate in the summer after break up, I guess the island that it's on would sink if they did, and that is something they'd probably like to avoid. He has his name in for other rigs so we're in wait and see mode. Luckily for us, he has had a couple of construction offers for the summer as well, and he's working with a friend this week doing light construction. So either way he'll be busy, we would just rather have him working on the slope.
Lee is going to be done 5th grade on the 23rd and then he's off to his Mom and Bruce's on the 29th...at this point we're not quite sure on when he'll be home. He will be in PA until after the July 4th holiday, then he'll go to Kansas for a day or too and fly back to Anchorage with Bret's parents....I think they are trying to stop and see Uncle Darin in California for 3 days on their way. Man I'd love to do the travelling that Lee does. ha ha ha
My work has been extremely busy and my potential job is waaaaay up in the air, which really sucks. Patience is definately a virtue that I have trouble with lol. My fibromyalgia has been pretty bad lately which also contributes to lack of blog updates, but hopefully with the 17+ hours of daylight now, my body will decide to be a little nicer to me....i'm keeping my fingers crossed anyways.
Lee and I will try to get some pictures posted this weekend, Bret probably won't be back on the slope this weekend either so maybe the three of us will get to go explore some of the sights we haven't seen yet.
I hope that everyone is doing well; please keep the comments coming they are really appreciated.
lots of love,
B-J-L
